In order to comply with the California educational regulations, Udacity must limit paid subscriptions for California residents to a period of six (6) months (at current rate of $399) to any individual Nanodegree program.
At the end of the six month period, California-resident students will no longer have paid-access to such program. However, Udacity will provide, at no charge, a grace period of thirty (30) days for California-resident students to complete any outstanding projects. After the grace period, Students will have continued static access to course content consistent with Udacity’s policies, which means that Students will have access to the existing course content (not updated content) and all of the completed projects, and Students will not have access to student services such as community channels, project reviews, mentor or career support services, workspaces, labs, or quizzes.
Based on our data, we estimate that students can complete any program in four (4) months working 10 hours per week.
All other policies on subscription access shall otherwise be available to California residents. Please note that this limitation is assessed on a program-by-program basis. This means that if you are subscribed to more than one Nanodegree program, service limitations will only apply based on the start date of each individual Nanodegree program.
