How will the new Android Kotlin Developer Nanodegree program be different?
The new Android Kotlin Developer Nanodegree program will include all-new lesson content and prepare students to build Android Applications using Kotlin, the preferred language for Android today. This four-course program will teach students how to build apps from the ground up using Android Studio, Android Jetpack, and Kotlin.
The program will feature five new projects, taught by all new instructors with significant industry experience.
Please visit the program webpage for more information around the prerequisites and syllabus.
If I am currently enrolled in the Android Developer Nanodegree program or if I purchase it today, will my progress in this program be able to transfer over to the new program?
Since the Android Kotlin Developer Nanodegree program is entirely new lesson content and new projects, it’s not possible to transfer progress in the current program over to the new program. This new program is being taught using Kotlin, while the old program was taught in Java. If you enroll in the new Nanodegree program in order to graduate, you will need to pass all the new projects in the Nanodegree program.
