Currently, the free trial is only available in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, and United Kingdom but our goal is to offer it to all Udacity participating regions in the near future. The $10 charge is a pre-authorization hold, also known as a pre-auth hold, which is a temporary hold placed on funds in a payment account to ensure that the account has sufficient funds available for an upcoming transaction. The hold will automatically drop in a few days. When does the 7-day free trial start? The trial starts as soon as you sign up and receive confirmation of enrollment. What is the duration of the free trial? The free trial lasts for 7-days, after which it automatically rolls over into a monthly subscription unless canceled during the trial period. How do I cancel my free trial? You can cancel your free trial at any time before it ends by going to your account settings and selecting the cancellation option. What happens if I cancel my subscription during the free trial? If you cancel your subscription during the free trial period, your payment instrument will not be charged, and no rollover will be attempted at the end of the trial period.
