Plagiarism will not be tolerated on the Udacity platform.
** Learners are highly recommended to adhere to the Udacity Honor Code **
What happens when Plagiarized projects are submitted?
Repeated Plagarism instances would first lead to blocking your project submissions, a further in-depth investigation would be conducted on your submissions, and a final verdict would be shared post-investigation.
*Plagiarism instances are not differentiated on the basis of an individual program and is applicable to all programs learners work on*
Based on the final verdict sent, learners who are found to have plagiarized will lose access to Udacity services, including the program's already ongoing and future enrollments.
Can I appeal the verdict?
Learners can raise an appeal only on the second instance to recheck the plagiarism instances. However, once final verdicts are shared, further appeals would not be considered.
What happens if I have been flagged for plagarism for the first time?
In the first instance, learners would still be able to continue and submit their projects, while if required, they can raise an appeal for rechecking this flagged instance. Learners need to ensure any further submissions do not violate the Honor code or result in Plagiarism
If learners have repeated Plagarism instances, their access to submissions would be blocked. Learners would receive a final verdict within 7 working days.
What to do while awaiting the final verdict?
If this is a repeated plagiarism instance, you are requested to wait for the final verdict email, which should be sent to you within 7 working days.
**Appeals should only be raised via classroom project submission lesson"
