404 Not Found Message in Jupyter Workspace
What is a 404 message on a Jupyter workspace?
A 404 message gets displayed on the workspaces usually due to updates made to the coursework within that specific Workspace.
How to resolve this?
The Get new content option under "Menu" should help resolve the 404 message on the workspace.
Clicking the Get new content option will reset your workspace. Resetting data on the workspace would give learners a new default workspace and replace whatever work you have done.
Please note: Before resetting the data you can download and save a copy of your notebook and files from the workspace directory to avoid any loss of progress. Please follow the steps below:
- Upon encountering the 404 messages, click on the (Jupyter logo)
- The workspace directory should be displayed where all files are located
- Click on the check box on the left side of each file to download it
- The download button should appear on the top when a file is checked
