Where are ECTS credits recognized?
ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) is the most widely used academic credit system in the world. ECTS is the official credit system of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), comprising 49 countries. While widely recognized globally, institutions outside the EHEA (such as in the US or Canada) typically require a credential evaluation to convert ECTS credits into their local equivalent. Transferability is always at the discretion of the receiving institution.
Can I transfer credits to another university?
In many cases, credits can be transferred to other institutions, but the decision ultimately rests with the receiving university. Woolf students have successfully transferred credits in the past. While credits are eligible for transfer consideration, acceptance is never guaranteed and is always at the sole discretion of the receiving institution.
To support transfer requests in the U.S. or Canada, students typically require a Credential Evaluation Report to validate the European credits equivalent to local standards.

What does the official Woolf degree certificate include?
Your degree certificate will name both the Udacity Institute of AI and Technology and Woolf, and list the number of ECTS credits earned for your degree (where applicable). You will also receive a Woolf transcript, a detailed record of your academic performance throughout your degree program. It provides a comprehensive overview of your coursework, grades and any completed awards of degrees.
