How does project grading work?
The program follows a mastery-based, project-centered grading model. The final grade for each course is calculated as the average of the grades for all required projects.
Individual project scores are determined by the number of submissions required to achieve a passing evaluation: a first-submission pass earns 100%, a second earns 90%, a third earns 80%, and each additional submission results in a further 10% reduction.
For progress tracking purposes, any required projects that have not yet been passed are included in the average with a provisional grade of 0% until completion. While you may revise and resubmit projects as many times as necessary to meet the passing criteria, once a project is marked as "Passed", the assessment is finalized and further resubmissions to improve your score are not permitted.
Please note that practice assignments, lessons, and quizzes are formative only and do not contribute to your final grade; they are designed solely to help you master the content and succeed on your first project submission.
